There is no crystal ball for real estate investing. However, the Clear Capital Home Data Index™ (HDI) does shed some light on the future of the national housing market. This most recent report, which is a multi-layered analysis of home price trends across the country, indicates that while the real estate market will continue to grow in 2016, it will do so more slowly than during 2014 and 2015, which saw 6.6% growth and 5.1% growth, respectively.
“Still, all growth is a move in the right direction,” says Steven Davis, CIO and CTO of 5 Arch Funding, which is why the 2016 forecast is a positive one overall. So, what does it mean for investors?
